Cornerstone Christian Church as a non-denominational spirit-filled purpose-driven church is committed to helping the new and the growing believers alike to grow in their knowledge of God. Through our EXCEL (Exemplary Community Engagement Life) Groups, the believers are nurtured for discipleship. We also reaffirm this commitment through our Church Covenant:

CORNERSTONE MEMBERSHIP COVENANT

We believe that the Holy Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God and is the basis for faith and practice.

​

By faith, we received Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. And following His example, we are baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

​

In obedience to the will of God, we commit ourselves to the study and teaching of the Word of God, believing that it is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness that we may be equipped for every good work.

And being led by the Holy Spirit and in agreement with Cornerstone’s purpose, vision, mission, and statement of faith do now in the presence of God and this assembly, most solemnly and joyfully enter into covenant with one another, as one body in Christ.

As a member of this body I commit myself to God and to the other members to do the following:

I will protect the unity of my church...

• By acting in love toward other members

• By refusing to gossip

• By following the leaders

I will share the responsibility of my church...

• By praying for its growth

• By inviting the non-churched to attend

• By warmly welcoming those who visit

I will serve the ministry of my church...

• By discovering my gifts and talents

• By being equipped to serve by my pastor(s)

• By developing a servant's heart

I will support the testimony of my church...

• By attending faithfully

• By living a godly life

• By giving regularly and generously

 

Together, when we are removed from this place, by the power of the Holy Spirit we will carry out the spirit of this covenant and the principles of God’s word to seek to live to the glory of Him who has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light. Amen
